Reporter Harry P. Ness: Let’s start with Duane Sammons, the bruising running back from the Ottawa Cavalry. He displayed outstanding abilities in the minors and was projected as a 1st round SFL pick. What made you decide to draft him, and how do you see him contributing to the team?

Ross Napoli: Duane Sammons is a true force on the field. His ability to run over defenders and break tackles is unmatched, and his size, speed, and agility are outstanding. We saw immense potential in him during the SFL Draft, and we believe he can become one of the best overall backs in the SFL as a rookie. We expect him to make a significant impact in our running game and be a versatile threat in catching passes out of the backfield.

Reporter Harry P. Ness: Chris Grant Jr., the standout running back for the Annapolis Navigators, was another rookie you signed. What can you tell us about his skills and how do you envision him contributing to the team?

Ross Napoli: Chris Grant Jr. is an exciting prospect for us. His performance in the minors showcased his exceptional ability to catch passes, and we see him as a reliable and dynamic receiver out of the backfield. While primarily known for his blocking skills, he has shown proficiency in gaining crucial yards in short-yardage situations. Chris’s versatility will be a valuable asset for our offense, and we expect him to provide depth and options in various offensive sets.
