Louisiana vs Indianapolis: Quarterback Tommy Utah

Utah & Napoli

Houma, La. Reporter Jenny Talya: Tommy, congratulations on the preseason game against the Indianapolis Ramblers. Can you talk about your overall performance during the game?

Tommy Utah: Thank you. Overall, I felt pretty good about my performance during the game. It’s always nice to get back on the field and shake off the off-season rust. I was able to connect with a variety of receivers and make some good plays.

Reporter Harry P. Ness: You had an impressive 310 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. Can you talk about your connection with the receivers and the chemistry you’ve built with them?

Tommy Utah: The connection with my receivers has been crucial in building our offense. We’ve been working hard in training camp to establish that chemistry and timing, and it showed during the game. Guys like Liam Hammer, Reggo Dinero, and Duane Sammons made some fantastic plays, and I couldn’t be happier with their efforts.

Reporter Jack MeHoff: Your longest pass was a 74-yard touchdown to Liam Hammer. Can you describe that play and what was going through your mind?

Tommy Utah: That play was a result of great execution by the offensive line, giving me time to find Liam downfield. As soon as I saw him break free from the coverage, I knew I had to make an accurate throw. Liam made a great catch, and once he got past the defenders, it was all about his speed taking him to the end zone. It was a thrilling moment, and it really energized the team.

Reporter Pat McKrotch: The preseason game can sometimes be challenging as it’s a chance for players to showcase their skills. How did you feel about the team’s performance as a whole?

Tommy Utah: I thought the team performed well. It was great to see the defense making big plays and coming up with turnovers. The running backs, Duane Sammons and Chris Grant Jr. had some impressive runs, and our offensive line did an excellent job protecting me and creating running lanes. It was a collaborative effort, and I believe we are heading in the right direction for the upcoming season.

Reporter Mike Hawk: Can you talk about the importance of preseason games in terms of preparing for the regular season?

Tommy Utah: Preseason games are crucial for fine-tuning our plays and getting our timing right. It’s also an opportunity for our rookies to get acclimated to the speed and intensity of the SFL. We take these games seriously because it helps us identify areas we can improve on and what we are doing well. It’s a valuable part of our preparation for the regular season.

Reporter Buster Cherry: Looking ahead, the season opener against the Atlanta Swarm is just around the corner. What are your thoughts on facing them?

Tommy Utah: The Atlanta Swarm is a tough division rival, and they always bring their best against us. We know they are a competitive team, but we are ready for the challenge. Our focus is on executing our game plan, minimizing mistakes, and playing with intensity. I’m confident in our team and excited to start the season with a strong performance.

Reporter Ben Dover: Thank you, Tommy, for your insights. Best of luck to you and the Louisiana Revolution in the upcoming season.

Tommy Utah: Thank you all for your support. We are ready to give it our all and make this season a successful one for our fans and the Louisiana Revolution!
