Neal Rivers, a formidable defensive tackle, was selected by the Louisiana Revolution with the 23rd overall pick in the 1st round of the Season 19 SFL Draft. From the moment he stepped onto the field, Rivers proved to be an invaluable asset to his team, making his presence known as a dominant force on the defensive line.
Before being drafted, Rivers found himself playing for the Albuquerque Atoms in the SFL Minors. It was during his time with the Atoms that Rivers had the opportunity to learn and grow as a player, surrounded by a fantastic group of coaches and teammates. Together, they achieved the ultimate triumph, winning the SFLm championship, showcasing Rivers’ ability to excel in high-pressure situations and contribute to a championship-caliber team.
One of Rivers’ most significant strengths is his ability to disrupt and stifle any opponent’s run game.
