Starting his career as a non-contract wide receiver with the Vancouver Legion in Season 13, Craven quickly realized his true calling was on the defensive side of the ball. Determined to make his mark as a defensive player, he dedicated the entire off-season to building strength and refining his skills, catching the attention of the Vancouver coaching staff.

The following season, Vancouver signed Craven as an undrafted free agent, this time at linebacker, and that decision proved to be transformative. Craven’s dominance on the field was evident from the start, earning him recognition as an SFL All-Star in his debut season as a linebacker. His exceptional playmaking abilities, football IQ, and hard-hitting style made him a force to be reckoned with on the defensive front.

Craven’s reputation as an elite linebacker caught the attention of the Lone Star Glory, who eagerly signed him to bolster their defense. During his two seasons with the Glory, Craven continued to impress, solidifying his status as one of the league’s premier linebackers.
