His longest pass of the night was a 74-yard touchdown to the sensational wide receiver Liam Hammer, leaving the Ramblers’ defense in awe.
Despite the unfortunate injury to rookie running back Duane Sammons toward the end of the first quarter, his brief time on the field was nothing short of spectacular. Sammons showcased his exceptional speed and agility, rushing for 66 yards on only seven carries, averaging an astonishing 9.4 yards per carry, and earning a well-deserved touchdown before the injury sidelined him.

Wide receiver Liam Hammer continued to shine, displaying his remarkable talent with four receptions for an impressive 125 receiving yards, averaging an astonishing 31.2 yards per catch. His connection with quarterback Tommy Utah was evident, adding a touchdown to his outstanding performance.
The Revolution’s defense made their presence known throughout the game, leaving the Ramblers’ offense struggling to gain momentum. Outside linebacker Gary Clem delivered a massive sack on Ramblers QB Colin Pierce at the end of the second quarter, forcing an injury that led to Colin not returning for the rest of the game.
The defensive backs also played a crucial role in the victory, producing an impressive six interceptions, and stifling the Ramblers’ passing game. Rolamin Hood stood out with two interceptions, while Nathan Blake looked exceptional with a pick-six, electrifying the crowd.
Head Coach Gerald Smith expressed his delight with the team’s performance, praising the players for their determination and execution on both sides of the ball.
“It was a tremendous team effort out there tonight,” Coach Smith said. “Our offense displayed incredible chemistry, and the defense showcased their abilities with those impressive interceptions. We are proud of our players and how they rose to the occasion.”
